Vesper City: walk the streets

Two ways to play the same city: the painted Graphical view, or the Classic newspaper pages. Switch whenever you like.

Vesper City is a city where the 1920s never ended. Its districts run from the slums and the docks to the financial district and the bright lights of The Strip, each with its own landmarks, its own danger and its own gangs.

In the Graphical view you start at your desk, with the telephone, the newspaper and today's jobs in front of you. Open the city map, pick a district and walk its streets, then click a building to go inside: the bank with its vault and ledger, the gym, the speakeasy, the hospital and many more.

Prefer reading to walking? The Classic view puts everything on newspaper-style pages with menus, cards and tables, quick even on a slow connection. Both views are the same game with the same account, and you can switch between them at any time.

It all plays in your browser on a computer, a tablet or a phone, with nothing to download. On a phone the street becomes an app, with the daily rounds and quick actions under your thumb.

The city keeps moving while you are away. Day turns to night on the streets, the weather changes, other players walk past, and the radio plays in the background if you want it. Every building you can enter is a way into part of the game, so walking the city is also the quickest way to learn it.
